Welsh soccer player Aaron Ramsey has boosted the bounty for information about the missing canine Halo to $twenty thousand dollars.

The former Premier League club Arsenal and Cardiff midfielder, who now plays for the Mexican club Pumas in Mexico City, mentioned that the beagle was spotted in a Mexican town, located in the Guanajuato region.

the dog, who disappeared on 9 October, was equipped with a tracking device, and the footballer posted a Google maps location of where she was last seen.

"Any news about our beloved Halo kindly contact us. Significant bounty for finding her. We are all hoping she's ok and comes home to our side quickly," the athlete shared on Instagram.

Initial Bounty and Emotional Appeals

Ramsey first disclosed that his dog had gone missing 14 days prior and has subsequently uploaded numerous pictures of the cherished canine on his social media account.

A $ten thousand dollar incentive was first announced, but with lack of updates on Halo's location after a seven days, Ramsey and his loved ones raised the reward.

"All we desire is Halo home," he said in an additional plea on social media after the decade-old pet went missing.

The most recent image upload is a monochrome image of Halo napping, its head lying in the curve of the athlete's elbow, with the description: "What I wouldn't give to cuddle you once more Halo."

Family's Worries and Background

Ramsey has also circulated a note from his wife Colleen on social media mentioning they have several "pressing questions" regarding the event and worry the family "might not receive clarity".

"We have yet to have not located Halo. I fear we ever will," the spouse's message expressed.

The Wales skipper signed with Mexican first division club Club Universidad Nacional in recent months and had his first appearance in the Mexican league in August.

The Caerphilly-born athlete is the pioneering prominent British athlete to participate in the Liga MX.
